Permit Parking Coming Soon!!

Dear Country Club Park Neighbors,

After a five-year process, Preferential Parking District (PPD) No. 304 will be established in our Country Club Park community beginning in mid-January.  This will improve parking availability for residents by limiting parking by commercial patrons.

The district will include the residential streets bounded by:

• Olympic Boulevard between Crenshaw Boulevard and Western Avenue
• Western Avenue between Olympic Boulevard and Pico Boulevard
• Pico Boulevard between Western Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard
• Crenshaw Boulevard between Pico Boulevard and Olympic Boulevard

IMPORTANT: Not all blocks within these boundaries are currently approved for parking restrictions (see the list below), but all residents can purchase a permit to park anywhere within the district.

What is Going to Happen?

• Beginning in mid-January, new parking signs will be installed to restrict parking on currently approved blocks (see the list below).
• Permit holders are exempt from these new restrictions.
• Non-permit parking will be limited to 2 hours between 8 AM and 6 PM and will be prohibited from 6 PM to 8 AM.
• Violators will be ticketed.

What Does This Mean for Residents?

• Residents on included blocks will be able to purchase parking permits that exempt them from the new preferential parking restrictions. 
• LADOT will send a letter to inform residents when permits are available to purchase.
• Residents on blocks not currently included can purchase permits to park on restricted streets. 
• Cars with disabled license plates or disabled placards issued by the DMV are exempt from preferential parking restrictions, but residents must purchase permits for any guests or caretakers.
• Street cleaning and other restrictions still apply.

What Do I Need To Do?

1. Check the status of your block (see the list of currently approved blocks below). 
2. If your block is included, and anyone in your household or your guests uses street parking, you will need to purchase permits when they become available.

• Annual permits are $34/year; limit: 3 permits per residence.
• Visitor permits (valid for 4 months) are $22.50 each; limit: 2 per residence.
• One-day guest permits can be purchased for $2.50 each; limit: 25 per day.
