PPD #304 is active for 24 blocks in Country Club Park. Twenty-four additional blocks are seeking inclusion in Round 2, with all signatures due by June 1, 2026.
EXISTING PPD #304 (ACTIVE)
1. Which blocks currently have permit parking restrictions?
Twenty-four blocks across Country Club Park are active in PPD #304. The full list is on the street listing page. An additional 24 blocks are seeking inclusion in Round 2.
2. What are the restrictions?
2 HOUR PARKING 8 AM TO 6 PM; VEHICLES WITH DISTRICT NO. 304 PERMITS EXEMPT
NO PARKING 6 PM TO 8 AM; VEHICLES WITH DISTRICT NO. 304 PERMITS EXEMPT
Other restrictions (street cleaning, etc.) still apply.
3. When did this start?
LADOT installed PPD #304 signage in February 2025. Permit enforcement on the existing 24 blocks began March 3, 2025.
4. How do I get a permit?
You can purchase permits online or in person at an LADOT Public Service Center.
It can take up to two weeks to receive your permit.
5. What information will I need to provide?
Permit applicants can apply online or visit an LADOT Public Service Center to apply in person. More information available here on the LADOT website.
To purchase an annual permit, you must provide each of the following:
- Current California vehicle registration in the resident's name and registered to the address within the district, showing the license plate, make, model, and year of vehicle.
- Photo ID (driver's license or CA ID)
- Two Proofs of Residence:
- Property Tax Bill or rental/lease agreement (must show name & address)
- Utility Bill (Cable TV, Telephone landline only, Gas Co., DWP)
- Examples:
- Rental agreement + Cable bill
- Gas bill + DWP bill
- Property Tax bill + Landline (cell phone bill doesn't count!)
If you have just moved to the area and do not have a vehicle registration showing your current address, you can purchase a four-month visitor's permit until your registration is updated.
6. What do permits cost?
Annual household permit: $34 (up to 3 per household)
Visitor permit: $22.50 for 4 months (up to 2 per household)
One-day guest permit: $2.50 each (up to 25 per day)
7. I have a disabled placard/license plate from the DMV, do I need a permit?
Cars with disabled license plates or disabled placards issued by the DMV are exempt from parking restrictions, but residents must purchase permits for any guests or caretakers.
8. What if I live in an apartment or townhouse?
Each dwelling unit is considered an individual residence.
9. Can I opt out if my block is included?
No, all residences on included blocks are subject to the parking restrictions. You have the option to park on a neighboring street that does not have permit restrictions.
ROUND 2 — BRINGING 24 MORE BLOCKS INTO PPD #304
10. Why wasn't my block included in the original rollout?
Approval requires signatures from 75% of the individual residences ("dwelling units") on each block (one signature per household). Volunteers from each block went door to door in 2024, but not every block met the threshold — and a small number of blocks gathered enough signatures but did not pass LADOT's final review.
11. I signed the petition in 2024 — why am I being asked to sign again?
A handful of blocks gathered enough signatures in 2024 but did not pass LADOT's final review. We're starting fresh signature collection on those blocks so they can be added to PPD #304. Specifically, this affects:
- Country Club Drive between 4th Avenue and 3rd Avenue
- 5th Avenue between Country Club Drive and Olympic Boulevard
- 3rd Avenue between 12th Street and Country Club Drive
- Country Club Drive between Arlington Avenue and Wilton Place
- Country Club Drive between St. Andrews Place and Manhattan Place
- 11th Street between Gramercy Drive and St. Andrews Place
If you live on one of these blocks, your earlier signature is appreciated — but the city requires us to begin again.
12. What's the deadline for Round 2 signatures?
June 1, 2026. All signatures across all 24 Round 2 blocks must be collected by that date.
13. Can I sign online?
Not for this petition. The city requires manual, in-person signatures. That's why we need volunteers willing to walk a block with a clipboard.
14. I'm a renter — can I sign?
Yes. Each household signs once, regardless of ownership. Owners cannot sign on behalf of tenants.
15. What if my block doesn't reach 75% this time?
Then permit parking won't extend to your block in this round. That's why door-to-door volunteer outreach matters — every household on every Round 2 block needs to be contacted.
16. When will permit parking start on my Round 2 block once we hit 75%?
After signatures are submitted, the petition goes through Council District 10 and LADOT for final review and signage installation. That phase typically takes 3–9 months.
17. How can I help?
Please sign up to volunteer or join our Wednesday May 6, 7:00 PM community Zoom (link on the main parking page). We need volunteers to collect signatures on their blocks, serve as block contacts, and help spread the word.
